GREECE | The Confederation of Greek Workers and the Association of Greek Civil Servants are holding a 24 hour strike Thursday, March 11. Inbound and outbound mail services to the country are likely to be affected by this stoppage.

CHILE | Following the earthquake in Chile on February 27, the Santiago exchange office is functioning and is able to receive international dispatches without difficulty. Delays in the delivery of mail may occur in destination in the centre and south of Chile, namely; Maula, Biobio and Araucaria. Pitney Bowes International Services will continue to monitor transit times to these destinations.

HAITI | Following the tragic earthquake which struck Haiti on January 12, all mail services have been halted. As of March 1, the postal system in Haiti is working to re-establish limited mail distribution operations in Port-au-Prince in order for the civilian population to begin receiving mail and packages.
